Asian Salad

This is very simple salad but uses all the farm’s ingredients. Feel free to sauté the salad turnips with butter and garlic for a different flavor profile or add proteins to make it a more filling meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2lb bag Snowgrass Asian Greens

  • 1 bunch salad turnips, halved and thinly sliced

  • 1 bunch red radishes, very thinly sliced

  • handful of mint leavens, roughly chopped (optional)

Sesame Vinaigrette

  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced

  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, peeled and finely minced or grated

  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • ¼ cup canola oil

Prep radishes and turnips. Make salad dressing and blend until emulsified.

Toss Asian greens with dressing to taste, then add radishes and salad turnips and toss again. Top with chopped mint and serve right away.
